TSH Celebrates it's 30th year in business

TSH has reached a major milestone in the life of a technology company.30 years in the
technology business underscores the skill and insight TSH employees and
management always display. At one time TSH was an IBM MIR (Master Industry Remarketer) and one of the
largest resellers of the IBM RS/6000 Line of products. The RS/6000 product line
know as the Pseries currently is still the underlying technology for many TSH
products and customers. However, early on TSH also recognized the importance of a good
mix of both hardware and software. While hardware sales made up a significant
portion of TSH sales it also funded the creation of the MDS platform allowing
TSH the opportunity to build the foundation for the future.
When hardware prices and margins declined sharply TSH wisely moved into the software arena with both feet. The MDS product was already a mature and stable ERP package and in the early 1990's TSH was in a good position to take advantage of a computer boom.
In the late 1990's TSH saw more and more customers needing industry specific solutions and developed extensions to the MDS package that allowed customers to create a semi custom software model.This model allowed for a standard software to have overlays that gave specific industry customizations. As the software evolved more and more of the modules that plugged into the MDS core system gained a new life as standalone products.
