Now You Can Inquire and Place Orders Via the Net.
Clifton, NJ. Now, not only can consumers view product lines and take orders over the Net, but they can check on the status of their order right from their home or office! The Systems House, Inc. is now rolling out RemoteNet., a family of software products that will allow consumers to access a merchant's database without tying up the merchant's system or staff.
"Some of our clients have been using RemoteNet in conjunction with our popular Master Distribution System (MDS) software," said Sy Fertig, President of The Systems House, Inc. "We decided to take it one step further and offer it as a stand-alone Internet solution for wholesalers and retailers. RemoteNet can either be integrated into a company's existing back office package, or we can process orders for them in a service bureau environment."
RemoteNet gives your customers safe access to your database, where they can view your product line and place orders from your Website (which can also be hosted at TSH's remote server). The database can be updated as often as you like.
Each customer gets a logon code to access your database (guests passes are also available). Customers then have the ability to browse the database, find out additional product information, check on existing orders and place new orders. If new orders are placed, TSH will transmit the orders to you via EDI, e-mail, fax or batch transmission, whichever you prefer. This one-way remote access allows you to have a powerful sales tool on the web without the investment in an additional server to host the traffic, or in additional staff for customer support. Customers can pay via secured credit cards, or charge to their accounts -- your option.
The fees for RemoteNet can be on a per transaction basis, or a monthly fee schedule, depending on your needs and capabilities.
